Admissions
The Centre for Opera Studies in Italy is now accepting applications from advanced singers, collaborative pianists, intern conductors, intern stage directors and intern stage managers for its 2010 programs.
Auditions will take place in the following cities:
- Vancouver – November 14, 2009
- London (Ontario) – November 19, 2009
- Montreal – November 28-29, 2009
- Toronto – December 5-7, 2009
Application Fees and Deadlines
NOTE: All dates are POSTMARK DATES
Singers (Live Audition )
- $80 by October 30
- $95 October 31 - November 14
- $125 November 15 - December 1 (Montreal and Toronto ONLY)
Pianists
- $60 by October 30
- $75 October 31 - November 14
- $105 November 15 - December 1 (Montreal and Toronto ONLY)
Conducting, Stage Managing, Stage Directing and Singers (Recorded Auditions)
- $60 by October 30
- $80 October 31– December 1
Audition dates and times will be emailed to applicants with confirmation of having received their complete application package. Singers are strongly encouraged to do a live audition. You may send a high-quality VHS/DVD recording if you live more than 450 km (250 miles) from the audition site and are not performing a live audition.
For those submitting DVD long-distance auditions, materials MUST be received by Friday, December 1, 2009.

- Singers are required to include a professional (8x10) photo.
- List of Repertoire Studied/Performed
- Audition VHS/DVD (if you are not performing a live audition)
- Audition Repertoire List (accompanist provided)
