Tuition for the 4 week 2012 Summer Program includes all lessons, coachings, masterclasses, Italian language classes, Pilates and movement sessions, as well as housing and a meal stipend to cover the cost of breakfast and lunch.
All students are required to submit a non-refundable $500 CDN deposit upon acceptance, followed by
the respective tuition amounts in EUROS (bank draft/money order), to the equivalent of the following Canadian Dollar amounts:
Tuition Payments will be due in two equal installments on February 16th and April 16th, 2012.
Students will be housed in well-appointed single, double, and triple occupancy rooms within walking distance from the program facilities. All residences are furnished with linens and maid service and are located in the historic downtown core of Sulmona.
Students will have location choices of eating breakfast and lunch at: Bar Giardini, a charming cafe located directly beside COSI’s facilities, and the Hotel Ovidius, with extensive indoor and patio dining facilities. Meal options change daily, offering an assortment of pastries, fruit, salads, sandwiches and Italian specialties.
Students are responsible for their dinner. There are a wide variety of well-priced restaurants in Sulmona, a fresh farmers market, several grocery stores and plenty of gelaterias!
Students are responsible for the cost of their travel and international health insurance.
Sulmona is located in the Abruzzo region in central Italy. Flight arrangements will either be be made via the nearest internationional airports (Pescara or Rome), depending on ideal charter flight and date availability. COSI will arrange for transportation to and from the airport for all students. A charter flight may be arranged through Ventresca Travel (www.ventrescatravel.ca). Students will be provided with details upon acceptance.
Day trips will be arranged on Sundays to give students the opportunity to explore the Abruzzo region and enhance their experience. Past trips have included Rome, Pescara and Scanno. Students will be charged for the cost of transportation.
