COSI Voice Competition

The COSI Voice Competition for Canadian Singers is a unique opportunity designed specifically for COSI artists. The competition provides a platform for COSI artists to gain further experience and publicity, with the opportunity to attain prizes created to support the artists as they continue the pursuit of an operatic career.

How to Apply
All applicants to the 2012 COSI Program are automatically considered for the COSI Voice Compeition.
How it Works
The first round of the competition will take place during the fall auditions. NB: You do not need to submit additional repertoire specifically for the competition.
Once acceptances for summer program have been issued, successful applicants will be invited to attend the competition weekend in May. The competition weekend consists of a semi-finals and finals concert, as well as opportunity for competitors to work one-on-one with guest judges.
Rules
- The competition is open to Canadian citizens only
- Acceptance and participation in the COSI summer program are required for eligibility.
All programs, faculty, dates, fees, and offers of financial assistance are subject to change.
